To me what's next is guaranteed unknown. Win or lose is relative. The plan has long been known by the process of natural repetition. Some repeats happen in moments of time some figuratively in what seems to be eternity. Which period length prevails is the unknown factor that is not guaranteed a product of history itself. With my twinge for silliness being my attribute, I foresee that something will happen, or I and you will not know it hasn't again happened, ever in this state of existence.
Footnote: Physical parameters are an aspect of history in this supposition that does not have full control of events/conditions to provide identification of what is controlling history. From a different angle this issue/concept is a social science matter. The physical science is not required to participate in all aspects.
