It seems, only to me that I know of now, that there are people who emotionally operate in an atmosphere of racism*. Sometimes hiding it in a white cloak that also sometimes in times past came with a white cone hat.

Rhetorically, perhaps philosophically but surely satirically the gauntlet laid down is metaphorically my alligators (and crocodiles) are bigger than your alligators (and crocodiles).
