Dear Joanne, this time is bringing to my mind that 3 years have passed since you left for residence with our Lord on this calendar date eve. I am hoping faithfully that when times require my joining with you that our Lord sends you as messenger to bring me home. I love our Lord and I love you. More than understood to this day, this letter of love reminds me of the many love letters between us. What has affected me is the realization after all these decades I do not remember thanking you for the "Dear John" letter I did not receive throughout our life together, especially during times apart.
