Observations - for whatever these are worth:
1a. Some see moats as entry prevention barriers.
b. Others see moats as exit prevention barriers.
2. Open minds, I'm guessing sometimes do not know they can close doors.
3. Bridges are a suggested (not recommended) substitute that are less often referred to (only by me probably) than moats and doors since they easily burn behind you. Bridges burning in front of you is sorta moot.
