My estimate of how many people are aware of the meaning of the 2nd Amendment begins with all people with a felony criminal record every politician, every person employed now or in the past in government. Every person who now or has worked in any security position both government and private / individual businesses, add most of the citizens of this country then add most of the world's occupants. Then subtract a few, citing whatever source you want or no source. If confused ask the people adamantly against guns their thoughts on this issue. This is only an estimate and not universally researched. Just a shot in the light of day and darkness of night.
