It does tickle my fancy to wonder if NATO moving troops for exercise accomplishes a goal even if only indirectly of President Trump to improve the defenses of Greenland beyond dogsleds. Perhaps that is figuratively.

A fleeting thought that many moments of each day I am reminded of how my representatives and senators have been earnestly fighting for me a lowly constituent. I doubt the fruitlessness of their endeavor has been more than a result of their lack of concern about the conditions faced by constituents who elected them. It is only a job that they strive to fulfill to the best of their capabilities regardless how long the fighting is necessary to get to the end that we are reliably experiencing.
