What's the difference between 'bigot' and 'racist'?
-A racist—someone who holds the belief that race determines human traits and capacities and in the inherent superiority of a particular race—is, by definition, also
-A bigot—someone who regards or treats the members of a particular group (humanity*) with hatred and intolerance. Bigot, however, can also be applied to someone with other prejudices, such as those directed toward people of different religions, ethnicities, nationalities, sexualities, etc.
Hierarchy of relevance: Racist is a type of being below bigot.
