I'll grasp the straw that supplies the thought that even though it can be fully wrong the assumption about what is a primary lesson billionaires learn is not relying on other people to do what they do for themselves.
AN OPINION.
Moral of the story if the thought is correct, don't wait on others to do what you yourself do not want to do. Waste of time for the one waiting.
