Opinion: A skill learned or perhaps natural for a politician is keeping their activity as low as possible to avoid attention. Amazing discipline is needed to control one's egotistical need for publicity. Exceptions I am aware of are minimal. A clue I may have encountered is if the politician offers to be an intermediary in your contact with bureaucracy instead of fixing the bureaucracy. Keep those wheels rolling. Rawhide theme song paraphrased with "wheels" instead of "doggies". TV Series 1959 through 1965.

Footnote: Practice makes perfect. A statement I have thought about (worry) that has never been proven and most likely will never be.
