An observation to be considered not necessary to believe. In a time when "intelligent" "educated" people believe that biological men can become women or conversely, by thinking it and figuratively coloring their comic book to fit the set for their act, the mind is operating in a risky and risqué mode. Such a mind would seem to be susceptible to suggestive self-demise (suicide). Did Epstein kill himself. My open but always skeptical mind says be careful, and my practical pragmatic mind suggest that I should if I could walk a mile in the man's shoes. Remembering the "man" chose to select those shoes to walk in.
Second observation: Misery loves, perhaps needs, company. I suspect that would apply to mental misery as well as physical misery. There seem to be many who are willing to be company.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability.
