Why do civilizations collapse and regenerate? Those capable of maintaining the civility lose interest in maintaining a civil relationship with those who are uncivil. Example. San Francisco, 2025. Some can live in it. Some can live with it. Eventually more that are needed to maintain it than not cannot live in or with it. There are quite a few other locales who have discovered this type of competition that they will endeavor to win. That is the destruction of their living environment.
