I've been waiting to use the expression "across the spectrum". For the maiden launch let the spectrum begin with the smartest people can make the dumbest decisions and the dumbest people can make the smartest decisions. My self-evaluation reveals that I fall directly on both ends of the spectrum. Doesn't this comment prove it?
