Geologically philosophically theologically if one hangs around long enough, he, she or it (maybe you?) will witness Mom (mother nature) perform plastic surgery on herself. (1) Eventually (many millions of years) Mom will consume all of its surface in the largest self-induced skin replacement effort ever to be performed on the face of this planet. Or everyone will have gone to Mars or even the moon if those objects are there at the time to be used for observational purposes*.

- Similar events may occur on both Mars and Moon celestial objects. I haven't been around long enough to experience such things.
