Every moment of mankind's existence we are demonstrating the wonder of our creation. We have installed as normal operating equipment a self-preservation process that operates continuously. It is the immune system. I can only imagine the number of times that system functions flawlessly and unnoticeably. It may be close to an infinite number raised to an infinite exponential power. Man's foray into the realm of protecting life seems to be wavering on the belief that we humans can surpass that internal system. In our self-created intellectual blindness, it is feasible, when that assumption (above/beyond God) is made the controlling guide to achievement blurs our rational thought thus the ensuing behavior. COVID seems to demonstrate this theory. Definitions were changed, facts were suppressed and ignored. And medical devastations were dismissed as irrelevant.
The search for recognition (ambition to be successful) can and does lead to distorted perception of one's knowledge and how that knowledge should be used. Sometimes too often it leads to pain and demise of others. Perhaps physicians, even mankind in a general sense should be always aware that it is important heal thyself.

An *abstract metaphor that describes while at the same time is defining the meaning of censorship. Cleaning up the mess created by throwing a Karo saturated pancake at a wall at a sponsored community breakfast consisting of free pancakes.
Note that the definition is mixed in the batter so that it is inseparable when the cooking is completed. What is baked in is having your piece of cake then eating it to (or for) your end.
