Words in language work best when they convey the concept being expressed. And many times, that
relationship of word to concept is not met as well as it can be. For example, activist, although as a generality seems to be the correct word in some applications it presents a preliminary mental image that would be more accurately attained with such a word as demolitionist or destructionist.
