One irony of liberals, progressives, democrats and many republicans is that their actions on the main issue of life, personal responsibility, an issue that should be all about themselves, instead they make it all about everyone else. And conversely, all the other issues of life that pertain to helping others that should be all about everyone else improving themselves, liberals make it all about themselves.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability. That, on judgement day penance may be translated to the language of individual responsibility and will fail the Judge's inquiry and be passed on as the administration of justice.
