If I understand the circumstances, perhaps I’ll understand the logic. Democrats lost a lot of seats in government in the 2014 elections because citizens were upset with government expanding interference in the lives of citizens and involving government in things they cannot control. So, republicans will continue to do the same things with the same results and expect a different outcome? This is an analogy to the definition of insane.

An *abstract metaphor that describes while at the same time is defining the meaning of censorship. Cleaning up the mess created by throwing a Karo saturated pancake at a wall at a sponsored community breakfast consisting of free pancakes.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability. That, on judgement day penance may be translated to the language of individual responsibility and will fail the Judge's inquiry and be passed on as the administration of justice.
