If the election Nov 5th goes as I hope (which it has), I shall somehow remind myself (which I have) to recommend the institution of a 1-time holiday coinciding with the day immediately following the next 4th of July. The celebration will be called "Do voting machines float in deep ocean waters?" Every single last machine and its peripheral hardware and software has to be tested. The best Pacific Ocean area recommended to conduct such test is called the Marianna Trench, Challenger Deep section. I'm keeping my fingers crossed hoping that all of the equipment fails testing.
