The expansion of the government in all areas of our lives has made congress, the president and the judicial system the new mafia.
Example: The mafia demanded protection money for problems they created and imposed.
The politicians demand taxes for problems they create with laws.
E.G.: First health care insurance and now the health care itself.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
