In my attempt to describe what is happening in the case of Alberta, the province and Canada, the country I would metaphorically, and maybe analogically ponder that historically and familially* (an adverb pertaining to family) preparing for the growth to a maturity in which the responsible leaves the nest without bringing those not responsible.

 * familial: Merriam-Webster adjective: 2: of, relating to, or suggestive of a family.

   The adverb is my monster creation, I think. I did not do a check on the internet or anywhere.

I am at the epitome of optimism that I shall be correct with my conclusion that I shall have been significantly contributory to the history of mankind during what I am guessing is my ~ 1 trillionth part of the total time living that the universe will have existed and the ~ 1 trillionth piece of the puzzle for the part I have emphatically played in the destiny of mankind's story.

Back to reality? What shall I eat for dinner?
