Let's attempt to grasp, if one is mentally capable of understanding, what physical damage spoken words that are not restricted in the free speech environment will have on society. The descriptive explanation is succinctly encapsulated in the children's rhyme "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me."
Hurt in this comment refers to physical damage to a human being. However, mental damage can be uncontrolled if the listener so desires.
