Likely expectations.

A nagging thought comes to mind that if you ask someone to do something for you only, the likelihood increases that the result may only be half or less of what you expect.

Reality observations: Playing now.

I have comfort in knowing that everything is going according to plan. The glitch seems to be knowing beforehand whose* and which plan is on the marquee and will play out regardless.

My guess that is always first is my Lord God's plan.
