In many situations I have discovered too frequently that if I do not say something as a joke, it is possible it will become the joke anyway. So, my advice to myself was and will be to go with the flow.

I have comfort in knowing that everything is going according to plan. The glitch seems to be knowing beforehand whose* and which plan is on the marquee and will play out regardless.
