Sometimes the impression comes over me when I hear or read the comment "for the good of America" what is being communicated is closer to "for the good of my hysteria". Paranoic to make things worse. Comes as part of the pathology.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
