Looking for a pragmatic definition of equality? How about this: everyone has 1 birth, 1 life, 1 death (1). And those events always occur in the same order. Equality at its maximum minimized meaning.
(1) There are two possible exceptions I am aware of. First God permitted Jesus to rise from the dead. Second, Jesus, returning life to Lazarus. Other than those two you are on your own search adventure to add to these two occurrences.
