A metaphorical example of the relationship between government and society is symbolically expressed in the story and concept of the Tower of Babel. The result of growth that is simply (perhaps pathologically unconsciously driven) attained for the sake of power loses its foundation (society) and thus collapses on itself. History does repeat itself. That is guaranteed.
