It is mental magic by those who want to destroy America to not realize if they are successful, that if the metaphorical switch is flicked to the off position their figurative lights literally go out at the same time. Or perhaps as they perceive the situation, don't let thoughts of reality get in the way of dreams (nightmares) of fantasy.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
