Perhaps one may consider that DJT's foreign policy could be paraphrased as (1) speak softly but speak loudly about the big stick you carry. During the 44th's first term, DJT's policy, philosophy, and presentation, which could effectively/affectionately be called parental guidance was utilized to achieve quite a peaceful accord, worldwide.
Aside: sometimes the message is communicated with the adage: He put his foot down.
(1) Speak softly and carry a big stick, Theodore Roosevelt, President US, 1901-1909.

Footnote: Practice makes perfect. A statement I have thought about (worry) that has never been proven and most likely will never be.
