A killer deliberately kills another person, is convicted, serves a sentence of 50 years and is released. During the 50 years, that killer completes an education that provides doctorates in jurisprudence, theology, and philosophy. Upon release the killer deliberately kills another person. An education at best provides data, which may be useful as information, which can lead to a positive contribution to society. On the other hand, it can have no meaningful or a negative impact on society. The fact that a person has a lengthy education is useless in evaluating an individual’s potential behavior with other people.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
