Many people mitigate a problem either physical or mental by diminishing their exposure to the known or perceived irritant. Not many leftists, liberals, democrats and others of a political bent, wokists, karens and what seems to be a host of others suffering 'ism' induced pains practice this self-preservation technique. It appears they have chosen a different thought about their cure, which curiously leads to more exposure to the irritant as a result of their deliberate search to locate and aggravate the topical pest du jour. Masochistic may I ask? Please, leave out the sexual connotation sometimes associated with this word if it should happen to be a thought to you. It may be surmised their motto is, "Nothing pains me less than finding more pain to make me more of a pain to all others".
