People who govern lose their perspective when they convince themselves they are in their positions to do more than assist those in society who produce. If they succumb to a belief that they are smarter or better than those who produce, they had better be able to produce what those who they disdain provide to society.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
