Maybe most of the time during these times I would give little heed to the admonitions from many politicians. However, thinking back a few generations, I am mulling over a paraphrased recommendation from TR (1) (not FDR) (2). It goes something like this: Walk softly and carry the best self-protection equipment. (3) Or something like that.
(1) TR, Theodore Roosevelt, 26th President, 1901 - 1909.
(2) FDR, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. 32nd President 1933 to 1945, (died while president, early in the 4th term.) (The first and perhaps the last 4 term president?) Never say never.
(3) "Speak softly and carry a big stick." is the real quote. At least until someone says they were there, and what they heard was different.

To turn my leering leaching eye to the realm of "Notes", for example "Community Notes" and all other sources of information sometimes also called data either for or not for "checking" or any other purpose such as research. Can there be identified anything that is useless before one's encounter with such note (source)?
Requisite condition: How would one know for themself?
Do I hear it now? What you say?
Self-assigned complication rating: <1>). Or maybe zero.
Point: Everything old is always new to some or many.

What I am quite but not completely sure of is that I would support not preventing anyone from not doing what they do not want to do. However, in some situations I would not recommend such behavior.
