Progressive / liberals / democrats and others are great at taking credit for things that never have occurred such as averting a great depression, denying responsibility for things that have occurred, such as the collapse of the housing market and blaming others for their actions such as George Bush or the republican party for economic conditions during their own control of the government, such as high unemployment.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
