For some unknown reason(s) I saw the words republican and democrat adjacent, and I fell fully brain first into a (multi) word association game! Voila! Mutually assured debauchery with reciprocal blackmail (well, maybe they cannot blackmail themselves since they do not seem to oppose the situation) and guaranteed final mutual destruction. Yeah!!!! As Jean Luc (1) would command "Make it so."
