Conservatism (its moral foundation) is the major component of the process of a civilization collapse.
Not because conservatives/conservatism become uncivilized. Rather, government becomes uncontrollable literally and simultaneously it becomes uncivilized intellectually and morally.
One might say the process is a metaphorical replication of the combination of the stories of Babel Tower with Sodom & Gomorrah. Their original scripts are biblical history. Not tales with a more recent Disney beginning and bad scripts.
