It is likely that Ms. Gabbard is realistic but a bit pessimistic as presented in the headline "Democrats, establishment GOP will ‘stop at nothing’ to maintain power, says Tulsi Gabbard". (1) Regardless of the pain and suffering that may be required, the Democrats and establishment GOP are intellectually captured in a fantasy that they can control climate and/or the sea level and other absurdities therefore they can control society. That idea is an illusion (delusion). One way or another the sea of human beings that comprise society will indeed rise and overcome the fantasies that accompany mental disorders. Perhaps this year, 2024 will be filled with the hope that the light will break through the mental blockades contributing to the irrational behavior of so many.
