Wisdom grows from experience. An individual who thinks it is smart to expect more (and more) from someone in a personal relationship, will be much wiser after they realize (learn) that they set the conditions that would make it more likely they will be disappointed. A perfect solution to an imperfect expectation will not have a perfect resolution. Bilateral emotional devastation is being cast about unwisely in society during this period.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability.
