When someone prognosticates with the historical maxim "on the wrong side of history" (in)famous legends come to mind. Memorable people such as Marie Antoinette of France, Hirohito, Emperor of Japan, Adolph Hitler, Chancellor 3rd Reich. Which side is the correct side? Will it be the right side, left side, losing side or wrong side? Probably the winning side would be better, at least for a while to keep your wits (and noggin) about you.
