Perhaps it is appropriate to think that a very destructive impact on society is the result of adults who pretend not to understand what they are doing is destructive. It is a behavior that is displayed very often by children.

Goal: Increase knowledge of economic reality preserving life through tariffs war. My hypothesis explained here in an example is the loss of life of passengers on the Titanic. The loss would have been substantially fewer if there had been a tariff of 100% and more on the price of tickets. Recommendation: Adopt the policy to save lives with tariffs by charging only enough tariffs to save 100% of lives. Expect this methodology to work almost perfectly achieving the intent for applying the tariff.
