The world is witnessing governments, “authorities”, “experts” and many others place their foothold firmly on quicksand (frequently themselves). To acknowledge the old adage “the bigger they are the harder they fall”. Let us opine on the beginning of an analogy. “The more they become agitated the quicker they sink”. That prompts the philosophical question, can a person sinking in quicksand make noise as he sinks and will anyone hear it (or care)?

An *abstract metaphor that describes while at the same time is defining the meaning of censorship. Cleaning up the mess created by throwing a Karo saturated pancake at a wall at a sponsored community breakfast consisting of free pancakes.
