A problem associated with collectives that liberals, progressives ignore is that the “collective” cannot distinguish between productive effort and wasted effort. As a result, most of what they do is unproductive. To paraphrase: “Man cannot live on unproductive alone (2)”. Ultimately there is nothing left to collect for the collective.

To turn my leering leaching eye to the realm of "Notes", for example "Community Notes" and all other sources of information sometimes also called data either for or not for "checking" or any other purpose such as research.
