During the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries there were groups of people whose policies resulted in the death of predominantly individuals whose skin color was referred to as black. As laws were passed and wars were fought that inflicted death on hundreds of thousands, things changed dramatically. In this 21st century, there are groups of people whose policies result in the death of predominately individuals whose skin color is referred to as black. Notice the dramatic change? Neither do I notice it. One noticeable change is the color of the attire. White conehead hats have been reimagined and are replaced with black hoods and face masks. Unfortunately, the most important aspect of the issue, what is in the individual’s heart, has not been affected in the slightest. Progress you know. Derived from the word, progressive.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
