Reality by multiple choice.
There are four options:
1. The truth that you agree with.
2. The truth that you do not agree with.
3. The lie that you agree with.
4. The lie that you do not agree with.
If a person doesn’t want you to hear what another person says, choose which of the four options is the most likely reason.
For myself option 2 seems the most logical reason.
Although option 4 seems possible, be guided by the truth. A lie is always a lie whether it is agreed with or not.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability.
