If my thoughts happened to swirl around the comments and reactions resulting from the Hamas and Israel engagement, I may analogize the perception of some to be similar to an event in which a rabid dog is attacking a human being. Some think the problem lies with the human being not the rabid dog. To them, the human being is the instigator, by existing. Not the existence of the attacking rabid dog.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
