With a very deep sadness I suggest that the rave party in Israel was probably teeming with young people who were defensively unprepared. Some, probably many who thought, or didn’t think about it at all, that the gala was a self-defense (weapon/gun) free zone. From one perspective, that of the invited partiers, it was self-defense free. Thus, by default, from the perspective of the party crashers, it was a defense free zone. Similar to a weekend in Chicago, Baltimore, Washington, DC and other locales.
