Depending on your perspective this is either the good bad news or the bad good news. The human race is still behaving as humanly as conceivable. If you are worried about mankind’s future now, we, the human race, may have been more concerned when Adam and Eve got evicted (cast out) of The Garden of Eden. Imagine the shock. We are still here so He has not abandoned us. Yet! His unconditional love continues. It can be a two-way street if you so desire. Your choice. You know, that free will thing! He continues to fulfill His promise.

Maybe the most self-beneficial reconciling penance administered by/for/to humans is performed by politicians who have a blinding trust in the concept employed as preventative responsibility contained within the theory of plausible deniability.
