Based on the “reporting” of recent events the impression can be conjured-up that there are people who do not attach any meaningful difference between the sequential combination of the words “over run” (as in border incursions) and run over (as in carjackings and demonstrations). The reactions seem to be encapsulated solely in the “Hillary” paraphrased statement, “what difference does it make now?”.
