Play-Doh. Started its commercial life as a wallpaper cleaner compound. After a bit longer than a generation it was reimagined and repurposed to modeling clay. Now it can take a step back to the future by substituting it for Federal Reserve currency, aka dough. The two forms of doh-dough seem to be nearing equal value. That could keep production cost low.
