What is the difference between someone who actually cares about the well-being of others as well as themselves and a person who works as government? The prior will think of a way to help and do it. The latter will think someone else (taxpayers) should think it their responsibility and still expect credit for thinking of an answer even though they never personally help anyone.

It struck me that the result from the effort to rid the past of the history of slavery now may come to the perfect ending with the elimination of a past problem that doesn't exist now. That itself deserves the "Go figure" award.
