The items to contribute to society that are missing with liberalism are: a product, service, price and guarantee. Other than those factors their ideas make great reading like other fantasies.

From a different perspective, as with most or all liberal progressive fantasies the first mistake is to accept their premise. There has been nothing preventing liberals from offering a lower price medical care or insurance product over the decades to prove their points that they can provide better care to everyone for less money. Had they offered a real product with real service in the real market such a product would have sold like hotcakes. So why haven’t they proceeded in that direction? Because it can’t be done at least by them. And they know it. Just ask Kirsten Gillibrand. She at least has admitted it.

For some illogical reason or perhaps for the thought of making decision for others, just attach the word government to the task and for the liberals’ purposes the task can be done. It is behavior similar to a post hypnotic suggestion that causes people to do strange things. In this case, liberals make illogical assumptions and come to irrational conclusions. It is possible for them to say things are worse, but we are better off because of it. In this sense liberalism at its core is an oxymoron.

For those operating in reality the more important word in free market is the word free. Unlike liberals who only use the word to mean free to use other people’s money, free marketers mean free to win, lose, draw or all the above.
